DFG Emmy-Noether-Group

Mobile Human-Computer-Interaction group

The mobile human-computer-interaction (Mobile HCI) group investigates novel interaction techniques, applications and services which support the interaction between mobile devices and pervasive user interfaces. This includes especially the interaction with horizontal and vertical displays, personal projectors and projected user interfaces. Furthermore we investigate research questions in the areas mobile computing, distributed systems, pervasive computing, internet of things and user interface frameworks.

Emmy Noether - Group

The Mobile HCI group is mainly funded by the the Emmy Noether programme of the German Research Foundation (DFG). The purpose of this programme is to "provide outstanding young researchers with the opportunity to rapidly qualify for a leading position in science and research" and to "recruit young, outstanding postdocs working abroad (back) to Germany".
