CrESt project’s first newsletter is out!

01/19/2018

In the CrEst project, 23 partners from academia and industry work on a model-based methodology for the development of collaborative embedded systems in dynamic, partly unknown operating environments. These systems are key for the development of, for example, autonomous vehicles and intelligent factories. The Software Systems Engineering group (Prof Dr Klaus Pohl) from the University of Duisburg-Essen plays an integral role within the project. Dr Thorsten Weyer coordinates the work in the sub-project “Context Uncertainty”. CrEst has a project volume of approx. 24 million euros and is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
