Keynote Speech: Requirements Engineering in the Age of Digitization and Autonomous Systems

In his keynote speech at this year's REConf, Dr. Thorsten Weyer stated his belief that the digital transformation will create big, new challenges for requirements engineering. He made it clear that the self-conception and job profile of future requirements engineers will have to change.

The REConf took place on March 7 in Munich. With around 400 participants, it is the biggest German-language conference in the areas of system engineering and software engineering. In addition to Dr. Thorsten Weyer, Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Manfred Broy from the Bavarian Center for Digitization and extreme mountaineer Alexander Huber gave keynote speeches at the REConf 2018.
