3rd paluno Software Technology Summit postponed

Due to the uncertain situation regarding the corona virus, we have decided to cancel the paluno Software Technology Summit planned for June 18, 2020.

Cancelled: Colloquium for Prof. Dr. Klaus Pohl

Unfortunately, we have to cancel the festive colloquium in honour of Prof. Dr. Klaus Pohl on March 19, 2020 because of the uncertain situation due to the spreading Corona virus. We did not take the decision lightly but we hope that you can appreciate the situation and apologize for any inconvenience.

Workshop on Authentication Beyond Desktops and Smartphones

The Human Computer Interaction group will offer a workshop on secure authentication at intelligent devices at the renowned "ACM CHI Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems".

Brain-Computer-Interface Hackathon

The Human Computer Interface group organized a Brain-Computer-Interface Hackathon in collaboration with G.tec company (BCI producer from Graz) and the German University in Cairo. The Hackathon was held on July 1-4 within the context of the DAAD project ComIC.

TransformingTransport meets Startups

On June 13, 2019 the Duisburger Hafen AG (duisport), paluno and Software AG were guests at the innovation platform startport. They informed logistics startups about the results of the Big Data project TransformingTransport.

ICSSP in Montréal: Marian Daun presents the benefits of review models

At this year's ICSSP in Montréal, Dr. Marian Daun gave a lecture on the benefits of dedicated review models for the validation of functional software designs. The lecture is based on the results of an empirical study by the Software Systems Engineering group.

PacificVis 2019: Visualization researchers met in Bangkok

From 23-26 April, the international visualization community met in Bankgkok. Shahid Latif from Prof. Beck's working group presented a web-based tool that makes the results of geographic data analysis understandable.
